Harvest Festival
South Hero comes alive with the excitement of harvest season. While we gather to celebrate our grape harvest coming in off the vine, the beloved apple orchards on South Street are abuzz with activity, carrying on the cherished traditions of the old Apple Fest weekend.
Visit the vineyard and smell the freshly harvested grapes, crisp apples from South Street orchards, and an array of local produce at back road farm stands. Savor the flavors of the season with grape-stomping, live music, wagon rides, food trucks, and wine & spirit tasting from your local vermont vineyard.

Snow Farm Vineyard, nestled in South Hero, VT, benefits from the Islands’ unique microclimate—ideal for grape cultivation and reminiscent of Burgundy, France. September marks our harvest season, when visitors can witness and participate in the winemaking process daily from 11-5. With over 17 grape varieties, we carefully harvest, ferment, and bottle our award-winning wines by hand. Our Tasting Room offers a chance to sample these local treasures, best paired with exquisite cuisine from nearby establishments like the North Hero House Inn and Restaurant.
