There is so much to see and do at Snow Farm Vineyard, Vermont’s oldest commercial vineyard. One of our favorite things to do at Snow Farm is to enjoy a wine tasting paired with delicious cheeses from Vermont Farmstead Cheese Company.
Our wines go perfectly with any of their cheeses, though we suggest trying one of their many cheddars with our Vidal Blanc or Marquette. The tender cheddar bite and creamy smooth tastes of these Vermont cheeses are enough to make anyone’s taste buds dance with joy.
As part of our Great Things to do in South Hero Vermont series, we’re going to introduce you to Grand Isle State Park! Grand Isle is the largest island in Lake Champlain and Snow Farm Winery is in the southern town of the island, called South Hero. The northern part of Grand Isle contains a town called, well, Grand Isle, and that’s where the park is located.
That makes it a short drive from Snow Farm Vineyard and a great place to either camp as you visit the area or to visit on a day trip!
