Set in the heart of the Champlain Islands, the Farm to Fork Fondo is a one-of-a-kind cycling and culinary weekend that celebrates the best of Vermont’s farms, food, and scenic beauty.

Tucked between the Adirondack and Green Mountains, the Champlain Islands offer an unforgettable backdrop for cyclists of all levels. Riders will pass rolling pastures, working farmland, orchards, and lakeside vineyards while experiencing Vermont’s rich farm-to-table heritage firsthand. Whether riding solo or with friends, every participant is invited to explore, connect, and enjoy the journey.

The Fondo Experience

Choose your adventure with four thoughtfully designed route options:

Ramble Ride – 10–20 miles with 1 farm stop
Piccolo Fondo – 25–35 miles with 2 farm stops
Medio Fondo – 35–45 miles with 3 farm stops
Gran Fondo – 55–65 miles with 4 farm stops

Each route highlights the natural beauty of the islands while offering curated farm stops along the way. Riders will meet local farmers, learn about Vermont agriculture, and enjoy fresh, locally sourced bites designed to fuel the ride.

Farm Stops

More than just a break in the ride, each farm stop is an immersive experience. Guests are invited onto working farms to connect with the people behind Vermont’s food system, ask questions, and sample seasonal offerings straight from the source. It’s a chance to slow down, engage with the land, and celebrate the community that makes it all possible.

Post-Ride Celebration

After your ride, relax and refuel at Snow Farm Vineyard with a post-ride BBQ celebration. Enjoy 100% grass-fed burgers from South Hero Farms, a build-your-own gourmet toppings bar, and a relaxed lakeside atmosphere to share stories from the road.

Farm to Table Benefit Dinner

Kick off the weekend on Saturday, July 11, with the Farm to Fork Benefit Dinner at Snow Farm Vineyard. This special evening features a multi-course farm-to-table menu crafted with seasonal ingredients from local farms and producers.

Guests will enjoy an elevated dining experience paired with inspiring toasts from Farm to Fork partners and members of the local farming community. Proceeds from the dinner directly support participating farms and agricultural programs throughout the region.
