It's A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Show

South Hero Players Presents “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” at Snow Farm this Holiday Season Our local theater troupe, South Hero Players, has just the event to get everyone into the holiday spirit! They’ll be performing “It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” at Snow Farm in early December. Inspired by the beloved holiday classic film, “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play” is performed as a 1940s live radio broadcast in front of a studio audience. With the help of a small ensemble cast that brings a few dozen characters (and all the sound effects) to life on stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve. The show will have a four-performance run at the winery, including three evening shows on Thursday, 12/5, Friday, 12/6, and Saturday, 12/7 at 7:30pm, and one matinee on Sunday, 12/8 at 2:00pm. Online ticket sales will be opening soon. Champlain Islands Christmas Parade

Route 2 - South Street, South Hero VT
The Champlain Islands Christmas Parade is back! This is a community event open to the public. The parade starts at 6:00 pm at Wally’s Place on Route 2 in South Hero and ends at Folsom School on South Street in South Hero. Local businesses, community members, rescue & fire departments bring a nice array of floats decorated with lights shining for folks to see. Check out the Snow Farm Vineyard float.
*Note this event isn’t happening at Snow Farm Vineyard it’s happening in our community. The Tasting Room will be open before and after the parade. If folks want to come out to the Islands early they can warm up in our tasting room before or after the parade.
