2024 Landot-
Last Fall, our Master Winemaker Patrick, set aside some high quality Landot grapes. He wanted to make a limited amount of this wine that would be released exclusively to our Club Members. The Landot turned out to be incredible and we are very excited to release it.
The Landot is a dry red wine with a lush nose of red fruits. Full of blueberry and currant flavors with soft tannins. This nicely balanced wine may remind you of a Gamay or a Pinot Noir.

Strawberry Liqueur-
The days may be cold, but this sweet liqueur will bring you right back to those perfect days of summer. Made with alcohol that we distill onsite from our vineyard’s grapes and locally grown strawberries, a taste of Vermont is truly in every sip.

Spirits From Snow Farm Distillery!
Distilled on site at our winery/distillery, we make our Vermont spirits with grapes from our vineyard, juniper berries grown in the forests, and maple from our trees.

Kentucky Derby Fundraiser
to support our beloved Worthen Library!
Embrace the spirit of the Derby by donning your festive attire and indulging in delectable Kentucky-inspired fare. Sip on Snow Farm wines and cocktails. The Kentucky Derby race will be on wide-screen TVs, there will be gambling, games, live music, and an incredible raffle with cash prizes.
Free admission. 100% of proceeds from betting and the raffle will go directly toward enhancing our library’s resources.

Of Note
Recipes and Pairings
Winter Berry-
- 1.5 oz Snow Farm Distillery Grappa
- 1.5 oz Snow Farm Distillery Raspberry Liqueur
- 2.5 oz cranberry juice
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
Mix all ingredients in a Highball glass ~ ¾ full of ice and stir. Garnish with a wedge of lime, raspberries or a sprig of mint.
Hot Spiced Port-
- 1 bottle Snow Farm Fortress Red
- 500 ml water
- 2/3 lemon, sliced
- 2/3 orange, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp fresh orange juice
- 6 cloves
Slice the lemon and orange into thick rounds. Stud some of the lemon and orange slices with cloves.
In a large saucepan, combine the port and water. Heat over medium heat until it just starts to steam.
Add the lemon and orange juice, cinnamon stick, brown sugar, and honey. Stir until the sugar and honey are dissolved. Then add the clove-studded lemon and orange slices to the saucepan and let the mixture heat gently for about 10 minutes.
Pour the hot port into heat resistant glasses. Garnish each glass with a clove-studded lemon or orange slice and a piece of the cinnamon stick.

News from the Winemaker
WINERY AND DISTILLERY NEWS
Wine:
We have released our Snow Trip Pet Nat Red! The Pet Nat makes a great mixer for cocktails and is the perfect companion for a charcuterie board. You can also serve this fun fizzy wine the next time you have some friends over for a unique taste of Vermont.
As we work with the new batches of wines from the 2024 harvest, we are beginning to make plans for next spring. We should have an extensive list available for tasting come next season. We are looking forward to some smooth reds and fruity whites.
Spirits:
We have also been hard at work in the production of more distillery products. Our most recent released is our Limited Edition Strawberry Liqueur! Using a base alcohol produced from our vineyard grapes and Vermont grown strawberries, our Strawberry Liqueur is brandy forward followed by a delicate strawberry flavor.
If you haven’t gotten to try our products: a Gin, a Grappa, a Maple Liqueur, Raspberry Liqueur, and a Strawberry Liqueur, I highly recommend you make the drive to South Hero to taste these one of a kind spirits.
Available now in our Tasting Room at 190 West Shore Road in South Hero, Vermont, our alcohol is made from our own grapes and we plan to continue to make a variety of spirits that will appeal to many.
